Overview
Gorillz was ready for a sharper digital presence to match its industrial-modern product line. The goal was to evolve the brand into a premium yet approachable e-commerce experience — clear, bold, and conversion-focused — while staying true to its minimalist DNA.
My Role
I led the entire UX and creative direction process for the redesign, including:
• UX audit and competitive analysis
• Visual and content strategy
• Homepage and product page restructuring
• Copywriting (headlines, microcopy, and category content)
• Brand-aligned UI enhancements
• Design advisory on Framer and system logic for scale
Approach
Grounded in Gorillz’s existing aesthetic, I restructured the site to elevate clarity, hierarchy, and visual appeal — especially across product pages and collection layouts. I rewrote key copy to reflect the brand’s confident tone and introduced refined headlines and content blocks that highlight form, function, and materiality. Every design choice supported one goal: turning browsing into action.
Outcome
The redesigned experience is sharper, more coherent, and emotionally engaging — positioning Gorillz as a premium, design-led brand in the Dutch furniture space. With clearer content structure, improved visual rhythm, and stronger storytelling, the site now reflects the strength and simplicity of the products themselves.
